What is “Training” and what is “Support”?

This was posted in our support section but I thought it was important enough to blog it because it’s the heart of our PlanSwift family.

You Download PlanSwift free demo for 14 days, then you will get a call sometime in the next day or two from one of our support reps that talks to you about the following (You can also contact us at 1-888-752-6794 option 1 for training or demo for instant help).

Training:
The sessions are normally scheduled for 1 hour blocks. The session is a live link where you are talking on the phone and sharing your screen with an experienced trainer on how to use PlanSwift or how to customize PlanSwift to your company needs.

Normally they build a few parts to show you how to make your templates to calculate what you need for your business. While they make the Template materials, labor, or parts the trainer will teach you how to make your own parts the way you want the takeoff items to calculate what you are trying to calculate.

For Example:
If you are a “Drywall” company we will show you how to calculate drywall with your templates.
If you are a “Concrete” company we will show you how to calculate concrete with your templates.

Support:
Support is for if something is wrong or displaying errors with the PlanSwift program.

Support reps know about the program and how it works and how to fix it if there are issues. If the support rep isn’t able to fix the issue they will create a ticket for a developer to take a look at and determine how to resolve the issue, the customer is then contacted and the fix explained.

For Example:

  • PlanSwift will not open.
  • PlanSwift isn’t activating.
  • Not able to open jobs on the network storage location.
  • Power goes out while you had a job open corrupting the job files.

The customer is number one with us period, we make sure you are answered and get the help you need.
